“HELPFUL SUNSHADE”
The idea for this sunshade came up when I was asked to find a way to help people in an emergency situation.
The principle standing behind this object, is trying not to go against nature in time of disaster. Not trying to stop it, and to use its exploding power to help while the destruction.
The “Helpful Sunshade” is placed in the beach and provides shade for the beach visitors for regular use. In an emergency of Tsunami, the shadow surfaces are thrown away by the waves and function as rafts, for those who didn’t make it to run away from the waves. The rafts are spread with the flow of the water and people can get on the rafts and be rescued from drowning.
