“HELPFUL SUNSHADE”
The idea for this sunshade came up when I was asked to find a way to help people in case of a natural disaster.
The principle that stands behind this object, is to try not to fight the nature in time when the disaster is happening. Not trying to stop it and take advantage on its exploding power to help while the destruction.
The “Helpful Sunshade” is placed on the beach and provides shade to the visitors for regular use. In an emergency of Tsunami, the shadow surfaces are thrown away by the waves and function as rafts, which are spread with the water stream. People who didn't make it to a safe space on time, can get on rafts and be rescued from drowning.
